Scouting basically a way of quality controlling the Art Portal. To be scouted you need 4 submissions to the Art Portal and be scouted (basically invited to the Art Portal) by another user that is already scouted. Then your art submissions will appear in the main Art Portal.

As far as I know, there's no way to see who scouted you, unless you find it on their profile by clicking the number on the 'Art Scouts' section, located right near their level and EXP points. That section will show which artists they've vouched for, along with their art.

You'll only have art scouts show in your level area if YOU yourself scout someone else (which you can do now that you've been scouted).

From now on, since you've been greenlit, your art will appear under the 'approved artists' tab in the art portal, AKA the main hub.

To answer your question, only mods/admins are capable of removing someone's scouted status.

As long as you're scouted, your art will stay in the "approved artists" section. You're correct in saying that the system can be abused, and regulating these things is part of the moderation team's job, so I wouldn't worry too much about it :)

Once someone's been scouted, that's it. They can't be scouted by two different users.

If you're a scouted artist, you can click on any of their submitted artwork (they must have a minimum of four) and press the scout button that pops up on the top left corner. The site will give you a confirmation check and the one you scouted will receive the scout offer from you which they can either accept or decline.
